Planning Evidence for Times and Organisation of Film Shoots

I made a table to show what days everybody is available.

Individual Response to the Idea

When we Started filming I was really happy with everything from the song choice to the storyboard. After thinking it through I think that the narrative is not very interesting. Right now it is about a couple having a fight and then making up which I think is quite cliché. Instead I had an idea of a woman dying and the man feeling guilty or sad about it by her bed side until she has passed away. I think this idea has more suspense. We will be filming again tomorrow so we will discuss this idea and if we do go ahead with it I think it will be better. All members of the group are not able to come but due to availability of the actors we have no choice but to film ASAP. It has to be done fast as the lighting outside is changing due to weather conditions so we need to film fast and start editing.

Fraser's Costume

Fraser was dressed in dark blue skinny jeans, with a dark blue jumpers, navy Converse trainers, with a black jacket. He was dressed in a typical Indie costume which was perfect for today as the weather was cold and we were outside but at the same time it fitted well with the video.

Casting Decisions

As a group we all decided Fraser was perfect for the role in our music video. His style of clothing and charisma fitted the Indie theme.

Filming - Day 1

We had some problems with the tape as Joe had the wrong one so we were delayed at the start as we had to go Curry's/PC World to go buy tapes. There were 3 tapes each with 60 mins each which we all chipped in for. We then went to our first location 'The Albert' which is a small pub near Richmond Park.

Here we filmed for the lines 'I'm going from bar to bar'. This pub was chosen as it was close to one of our other locations and it had a classic homely pub feel to it which is something we were looking for. We then went to our second location which was Richmond Park - Kingston Gate.

We filmed in several places in the grounds, some of the actor in the narrative and some of the performance section of the song where he sings. I think we had a very productive day, the weather was gloomy which gave a depressing effect which is what we needed and there was enough natural light to film with. We will be filming again next week Tuesday with the male and female actor too.
